We aim to make practical Oxford information clear about its sources, checking dates and commercial relationships.
Organiser details are not assumptions
Events need a date, time, venue, address and organiser contact. We do not use a venue as a substitute for a performer or organiser, and a listing may be held for review when the information conflicts.
Clearly labelled
Paid business profiles and featured placements are marked as advertisements. Payment does not create an editorial recommendation or change editorial rankings.
Corrections and updates
To report an error, send the page link, the detail to correct and, where possible, the authoritative source. We assess corrections against the source and update substantive facts without treating an automatic build as an editorial update.
Authors and reviewers
Oxford City Guide will show named author and reviewer profiles only when genuine names, biographies, areas of knowledge and profile links have been supplied and verified. Until then, published material is attributed to Oxford City Guide editors rather than an invented person.
